Terms of Use

Study Grounded is a retrieval-augmented study assistant. It answers multiple-choice questions based on study material you upload. It is not a general chatbot.

• Use the service to study material you have the right to use.
• Do not upload content you don't own or aren't licensed to index.
• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, content filters, or the topic gate that restricts the model to your library.
• Do not use the service for automated scraping, reselling AI compute, or any activity that violates your school's academic-integrity policy.

Study Grounded is an educational tool. Answers are generated by third-party AI models and can be wrong, incomplete, or out-of-date. It is not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. Always verify important information with a qualified source before acting on it.

We cap queries, uploads, and monthly token usage per account to keep the service affordable. If you hit a limit you'll see a clear message in the UI. Repeatedly abusing the service may result in account suspension.

You can sign out at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, or in response to legal requests. On termination, your resources, questions, and quota rows are deleted within 7 days.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
